Swim F.A.S.T. 2011

“Escape Your Limitations”

Mark your calendars for April 16-17, 2011. Swim F.A.S.T. is delivering a 5th Anniversary celebration trip for 2011!

Over the course of the weekend, some 150 swimmers from across the country will converge on San Francisco Bay for a rare pair of open water swimming opportunities.

  1. April 16, 2011: The Escape from the Rock, a 1.4 swim from Alcatraz island to San Francisco’s Aquatic Park inlet, a distance of 1.4 miles
  2. April 17, 2011: Crossing the Great Gate, a 1.2 miles swim along the length of the one-of-a-kind Golden Gate Bridge.

With more than 400 participants ages 8 to 80 participating in the last four years, this is your opportunity to join us as we cross the 500 success mark and together escape our limitations.

You’ll be doing more than achieving a breakthrough for yourself. You’ll be helping to promote water safety and raise money for the Foundation for Aquatic Safety and Training’s programs and outreach.

We’ll help you get there! Registration will formally open this Fall, but planning is a year-round affair. Training is available too. If you’re interested in learning more, we’d love to share. Click here to complete a short interest form and we’ll get back to you.
