Team Alcatraz 2009
“Escape Your Limitations”
Team Alcatraz is a group of swimmers who challenge the San Francisco Bay to swim from the legendary “escape proof prison” to San Francisco. Over 150 swimmers age 8 to adult have successfully conquered The Rock in the last two years. Join us in 2009 as we escape our personal limitations while helping to promote water safety and raise money for the Foundation for Aquatic Safety and Training’s programs and outreach.
Registration for our April 18th Alcatraz swim and April 19th Golden Gate Bridge Crossing swim begins on September 1st and training starts in October. Click here to complete registration information. The total fee to cover the event, equipment, training and fundraising starts at $300.
